Moldavian Kaval/Caval fignerings

Traditionally used the second, the third and fourth octaves in the kaval. The first octave is generally weak, and difficult to hit the ideal pressure strength of blowing.

You can blow the flute "normally" but if you cover the top of the window by your jib (under lip) and hook/growl by your throat, you can play much more resonate, overtone rich way.
